    Close of first round of financing

    It adds Bonial International Group, the global leader and creator of the model for digital catalogue and brochure distribution, to the company’s shareholders

    Ofertia Spain launch

    Jaume, Thomas, and Oriol, launch Ofertia, a mobile and web information platform for local shopping during a large press conference in Madrid attended by Julián de Cabo

  • June 2012
    Ofertia, no. 1 on the App Store

    Just a month after its launch, Ofertia gets AppStore no. 1. In addition, the iPad app “Ofertia HD” achieves the position no. 3 with very good users reviews

    Second round of financing

    The company adds FINAVES (seed capital fund of the IESE Business School) and Inderhab Investments to its list of shareholders. Ofertia raises more than 1 million euros

    Ofertia’s first anniversary

    In just one year, Ofertia has 1 million users per month on the web and its applications are among the most downloaded and top rated in Spain, reaching a million installations

    Breakeven

    In just two years, Ofertia reaches the breakeven point for the Spanish business, which attests to the viability of the business

    Arrival in Mexico and Colombia

    Ofertia begins its internationalisation. The company enters the Latin American market. Mexico and Colombia are chosen for having a culture and history similar to that of Spain and for the size of both markets

    Arrival in Chile

    The company reinforces its position in the Latin American market with the platform’s launch in Chile

  • April 2015
    Bonial.com acquires 64% of Ofertia

    The Bonial Group becomes the company’s majority shareholder. With this transaction, the German group becomes joint shareholders with Jaume Betrian and Thomas Roggendorf, and Oriol Carreras ceases to be a shareholder of Ofertia

    Arrival in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway

    Ofertia continues its internationalization strategy with the launch of the app and web in Scandinavia under the Bonial brand

    Opening of Mexican office

    Ofertia inaugurates its sales office in Mexico City, under the leadership of Francisco Plá, the Country Manager of Ofertia Latam
